Rigsby Throws his dummy...

Postby Beeks » Fri Dec 03, 2010 12:24 pm

Bolton Wanderers winger Martin Petrov has slammed his former club Manchester City, suggesting he was treated like a 13-year-old at Eastlands.

Petrov faces his former club tomorrow at Eastlands in the Premier League, but he couldn’t help having a dig at his old employers.

The Bulgarian believes there is no communication at the club under Roberto Mancini and was never informed about his situation at the club prior to his departure.

Petrov told the Sun: "It was frustrating, but not because I didn't play. The worst thing is the communication with the players.

"I am 31 years old and I felt like I was 13 there. Nobody spoke with me about my situation.”

How many people have said the likes of this since leaving here in the last 3 years?

Maybe he's right?

Exactly, it's only some journo looking for a quick and easy quote before the game. If he's still there next season I'll wager £100 the quote is used again

Totally agree its all re-hashed but communication is a two way process, his quotes suggest that he didn't try to instigate the process either other it would be "I tried to gain assurances from City about my future blah blah"

I was about to post the same thing - there was a thread on here about it at the time.

What sort of response did he get from the fans today?
