Haha

You haven't been watching for long enough mate.

Find me someone lazier who isn't in the John68 timescale...i've been going since 81 and I've not seen anyone as half arsed

I'd have told Elano to Jog On a long time ago...but he probably couldn't manage a brisk walk

I probably can't offhand.

But if I mentioned Roy Gratrix a fair few old-timers would nod sagely.

If he had worked harder he would be a legend by now - such a shame

Classic "on his day" player. Sadly his "day" came once in about every 8 games, and never in the months of Dec/Jan or Feb when it was cold.

Ideal for a home game in September against a team at the bottom that you need to break down, but away from home a total liability when we didnt have the ball. Good luck to him, I hope he finds comfort in the Mickey Mouse leagie in Brazil which I am sue he will.

He always looked absolutely ruined past the 70 minute mark as well, which is never good for a professional footballer.

Shame though, really enjoyed that first half season he was here.

That is an opinion I just cant understand if you watched him play for City. He did a few good things early on, but couldn't:

Tackle
Run any faster than my old mum
Shoot very well
Pass short - had to be 70 yards and given away
Get on with any manager
Hold the ball with any strength

Watch a re-run of the game at Old Trafford toward the end of his time. That was the worst ever performance by a City player - and there is some serious competition!

Which top European club did we get him from? And who snapped him up?

EDIT - could take penalties, well done fella

I share your opinion on Elano, I was merely pointing out, that he looks a great player when playing for Brazil, but couldn't hack it at City. In fact every Brazillian we have had has been good for the first ten matches then turned to shit. Just saying, NO more Brazillians at our club please.

While I am at it, Italians don't seem to do a lot for us either. Though, I do hope Balotelli will be an exception to the rule
