What are the pro's and con's of each bid, seeing there is such an aray of different culture's on here?

I live in Belgium, and haven't seen a single item about them bidding in the news here. Someone mentioned it once a few months ago to me, but other than that nobody either a) cares their country is bidding or b) knows their country is bidding.

It's the other way around in Holland. They're all quite excited about tomorrow's announcement, even though few think they stand a chance. I would personally love it if it went to Holland/Belgium. i don't know if I still will be living here by then, but I will most likely still have strong ties (family) to the country.

That says it all really. The Dutch seem to be well up for it but if their partner in crime doesn't give a monkies, what chance have they got, and further more, why bid in the first place?

Anybody know what time it will be announced?

This seems to be the same as the Spain/Portugal bid where some Portugese are saying they don't want it because it won't be recognised as a naional bid and that they will be froze out and a secondary entity.

The press seem to be reading lot into the fact that Putin and Trannie haven't shown up.. as if they know something from within their own camps about the way it is going. Maybe the bookies are talking the same view of their non show?
