Sometimes a feel like it would be better that the mighty withdrawn and left the club. Then all selfsuffering miggots would be pleased and all will be on square one.
We are becoming spoiled with a reason. A point away to a dirty Stoke is NOT that bad.

Surprise for me was that we didn't bring more defensive players to close the game up in which case the long ball would have been defended easier and Ethers wouldn't have had that space.

Shame as a 1 nil away win at Stoke would have been the equal best result of the day with WBA

We could have just played football, like we had been doing, & seen out the match without Stoke touching the ball. How many times had they already had half chances from humping the ball, yet we give them another opportunity? Pathetic.

I just replayed it many times and it was simple pass from Komp. He could've done better even if his first touch took it a bit out of his full control.
He didn't have to do that. He had time and space. Could've even controlled it and passed it back to Joe but that was stupid. On top of that he lost the header with Jones which was knocked down to Tuncay. Micah unfortunately is to be partly blamed for the goal as he didn't step to cover Ethrington and kept watching Tuncay. It also didn't help that most of our palyers were up field especially AJ who should have tracked Ethrington.
Joe got a touch to it. Very unlucky.
Oh well going into the match, I would've taken a draw and certainly after the 1st half performance but we were so close, it really hurts.

Lets be realistic....We should have been 2 down in that shambles of a 1st half.
We turned it around brilliantly in the 2nd and was unlucky that we conceded in the final seconds, but overall we got an away point against a horrible team.
Toure had a hesitant moment and cleared the ball to there keeper..We see that happen in every game from all defenders. We did not defend better after the clearance and conceded.

"Stupid & pathetic" clearing the ball? Amazing.

There always has to be a fall guy, today it seems it is Kolo Toure.

Do you really think that was a standard clearence situation? I was still shouting at the screen from when he did it to when the ball hit our net as it was so obviously unprofessional & absloutely begging for trouble. I truly hate stuff like that. A mistake is one thing, crass stupidity is another. There's nothing winds me up more in football than shit like that. That's why I hated Richard Dunne.

It was a really stupid thing to do and the kind of thing you'd expect from Boyata or some other inexperienced player and I lay the blame for us not holding onto our lead at his feet.

That said, shit happens and I've seen the very best defenders make one slip to cock up a match.

That kind of thing will become less and less frequent and the team as a whole will learn from it.

We did the right thing for most of the second half and although I'm not happy with a point given our lead, we reacted like a top team who had a bad first half against a damn stubborn side.

Chin up.

LOL! The perfect quote to show what perfect bollox this whole thread is.

If he'd have put it into row Z and Stoke had scored from the resulting throw in it would have been "Toure = cunt for unnecessarily giving them a last minute chance to use their main weapon".

Good point. When something like this happens with a player with tons of experience like Kolo, it makes it that much harder to take especially as we had a very good half and were so close to getting the 3 points.

Gotta blame someone. Might as well be Kolo this week.

A point at Stoke is a result for us. It's hardly our favourite hunting ground. Still 4th. Onwards and upwards.

Got to be honest I'm not one for a boo boy normally but I think he fucked up big time last night. I actually quite like Kolo but we'd held the ball for bloody ages were winding down the clock then he kicks it straight to them from nothing and they return and score.

Like I tell my boys before every game, "they cannot score if you just don't give them the ball"
Tracking back is overrated.
