Indeed.

Great to see him there at Christies too. The job they do there is amazing. A couple of Christmasses ago my ma was written off with cancer yet after going there, a few months later they'd bloody sorted it. Fantastic.

What a refreshing change it would be if this made the headlines in the papers, or Vinnies' 100 ticket giveaway not long ago. No chance I'm afraid

Good news doesn't sell papers, does it?
Zab may not be the most talented guy in the squad (he's no muppet either) but he makes up for it with great heart, willingness to be flexible and KNOWING WHEN TO KEEP IT SHUT.
Good on ya, Zabs. The City faithful have really taken to you and you deserve it.

While a PR exercise I am sure the players can decide not to do it if they don't so good on ya Zabs for volunteering!
Always tends to be the same few players who do these things though (and Stevie to be fair to him when he was here).
IMO with the amount of free time they have it should be mandatory for players to do more things like this. What is a few hours out their day every couple of weeks can really mean a lot to a great number of people for a long time.

What was this? Could someone post a link to the thread, as I totally missed it, and can't find it after a brief search.

Thanks.

Zabaleta is one of my favourite players. Gives all he's got, never moans and those type of people can be rewarded in the long term! Also such a role model aswell, his english is superb.
