haha.....15 points to safety and it's not even December yet. Oh how surreal the degree of change is when you think about it sometimes.

The missus. Tonight.

In the prem, I'll go for WHU, WW and Blackpool. I can see an epic row of defeats for a deflated Blackpool after Christmas.

West Ham - appalling.

Fulham - crap

Liverpool - still time for Woy to work his magic!

One other team who are in a precarious situation is West Brom. They're obviously a decent football team but they'e on the crest of a slump atm & the Prem is a muggers alley. They need a couple of results to avoid getting into a nervous state & collapsing.

Six points separate 18 from 7th! Incredible at this time of the season for it to be that close. Wigan are in a relegation fight but also in a fight for Europa League at the same time!

The league is more similar to that of the championship this year in which a team looking like they might go down actually finish in the top 6 after a run of a few wins.

Saying that both West Ham and Wolves (how did we lose to this shower) look devoid of confidence and will go down.

now that all this stuff with newcastle is going on ... i'd put them in the lineup to go back down ... and I think Wigan and Wolves will join them.

I'll start going to church if it's Everton. (Maybe I should start going now and it might happen)

There definitely aren't three more brittle teams than West Ham, so I have to say that, unless something unforeseen arises, we're going down. We'll probably improve as the season goes on, but there's not enough fight at this stage imho.

Wolves are also likely to simply fail to win enough games.

Wigan are the only other team that I think just lack the basic requirements of either enough individual quality or team grit (they were shit against us 10 days ago).

Thing is that there are other teams that might either ingite and motor upwards or stagnate all season. Villa have conceded only 3 goals less than us (and gone down to one fewer defeat). Fulham - perhaps due to injuries - seem all fits and starts...

...and then you have good old Mike Ashley.

Holloway is surely Manager of the Season if he keeps Blackpool up?

The thing that you've got goin for you mate, is that you've always kept a tight ship with regards to your fans keeping behind you whatever happens in the main. This has stood you in good stead for many years and you don't panic as much as most clubs do. This will be vital, particularly as the crunch time arrives at the end of the season. There are more teams than usual that are getting dragged into the panic situation mode this season and I feel that this will suit you. Hopefully, you will pull through because there are many teams in the league that I would rather take the drop than your team for various reasons.

This doesn't mean that our boys will let you take liberties with us on your manor though ;o)

Just have the feeling that it will be a tight relegation battle until late in the season and that West Ham will stay up. I'd predict Wolves, Wigan and Newcastle to go down.

I would be in dream land if Bolton, Stoke and Everton went down.

However I think it's more likely to be Wigan, Wolves and Newcastle .
