Boring boring City

Chant of the season so far.

Already feel it's going to become as ubiquitous as "we're not really here".

Cant see it taking off if were 0-0 at home to Blackpool or Wigan.
It's good when were smashing teams though.

As has been mentioned across 3 threads now, the away fans are fucking magnificent and a real credit to the club.

'Let's all do the Poznan' and 'Boring Boring City' were funny as hell.

Fully Agreed, Mate.
I was extatic watching our immense fans at the Cottage, so that I felt to apply as signature.

Top Blues!

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

I remember sitting in a pub in London, watching City beat Stoke on the last day of the season, but still go down. Through my depression, I was immensely proud, listening to the chants of 'Are you watching Macclesfield?'

I don't think the money has ruined us, but the expectations risk our sense of humour. City fans have been so used to adversity, I don't think we've worked out how to do potential or success yet. Hopefully, we'll work both out soon.

Long day but the result coupled with these comedy moments made it morth than worthwhile. I was especially pleased to see RM make his way over to the fans and encourage his players to do the same. Well done MCFC.

Couldn't believe he got any claps at all, I Iikened it to clapping Hitler for a laugh. He did get a mixed reception though, I was in a box in the Fulham end and sat about 40ft away from him and his very blond misus - not bad for a cheating fat dwaft, Cooke was closer, did walk close enough at one point to mouth wanker silently when he looked over. No-one in that part of the ground was giving him any shit. Cooke was closest he should have done it, that's my excuse.

I'd like to think yesterday proves our humour will always remain. Something to be very proud of I think, in this new age of austerity.

I clapped Maradona. Yes, he was a cheat but then so are a lot of footballers. He was an incredible footballer, the best I have ever seen. The majority of City fans appeared to be indifferent, a few booed and a few clapped.

The highlights for me on Sunday:
• The scenes following Zabba’s goal (it suddenly became a party atmosphere). Everybody appeared to start dancing
• The chants. My favourite being “We are staying up”
• Us singing “Boring, boring City” as the players left the pitch for HT, and Roberto turned around to acknowledge us
• The build-up for Yaya’s goal. IMO one of the best goals I have ever witnessed. It was total football
• I was sat next to City fan/legend, Peter (the guy who wears all things sky blue)
• The Erdinger I drank earlier in Oxford Circus

£4 for a pint of Carling!!!
