How good are we going to be when the mythical great Johnno makes his return?

this kid's career is tragic. he'll not get into our team now even if he gets fit enough. when he was last playing regular he was still developing, he's going to be pretty much starting all over again. you'll see him in carling cup matches, if at all. shame.

sad but true. I hope the boy proves me wrong but we'll see. To think he is anywhere near the level we are right now is bit crazy though. He showed few times flashes of real talent but that's all. Like you said, he was project even when he came through.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I saw a bit of him last night in a match v Fulham from SP's reign. He even caught my eye in that with his balance and ability to move the ball quickly and intelligently.

i think we could be surprised by him if he gets fit. it's a long shot that he ends up even playing with a Premier League squad, but you never know.

Can we start and overrated 11. With all players that attained status fr outweighing their contribution.

I know Johnno would be captain and Bojinov up front.

Johnno use to go missing for large chunks of games, usually because he was shackling an opposition player. He will have matured during his injury, and hopefully come back with a "every game could be my last" attitude.

There is no doubt that there is room for him in the squad. A quality naturally clever footballer who use to have a good engine. If he were abit more match fit, yesterday would have been a perfect time to give him 15/20 mins.
