CRAIG BELLAMY!

Postby lythamblue » Sun Nov 21, 2010 7:43 pm

Hats off to the bloke today.

I felt very uncomfortable, given the circumstances, when I saw he was the Sky Pundit today. However, he never spoke a bad word about the club, even when prompted by others to do so.

Even when asked if he thought the could still have been out there doing a job for City ...... his answer that "City now have far better players than me out there, was the perfect answer and every credit to him (even if he doesn't actually believe that).

Another City player today ..... who gave a very professional performance.
Relax ... It's only a message board in hyperspace!!

Agreed. However Bellamy is easily better than a lot of players we had out there today.

A fantastic representiative of the club today, when there had been so much bile directed towards us in the papers and on fucking Sky television.

He even mentioned the fact that there is so much unfair criticism towards the club.

A player that should have been on the pitch today. From where I was sat, it looked like Jo was where he should be.

Good lad, reminds me of Dickov a bit. I hope he stays close to the club in the future.

to be fair , when i saw him shaking hands with twitchy last year my blood boiled and when he was left out of the squad i was 50/50 whether he would be missed , but i have to say he has not done the dirty on us at all. he has bigged us up all the time and seems he really loved playing for us , i have so much respect for him for not hanging us out to dry when u see the other 2 numpties planting a seed in his head today, one thing i disagree with was when he said there are much better players than him there now ? i think he would have fitted right in there , maybe the legs cant do it at the top anymore but would love to see him back cos he gives u 100% and inspires others around he to step it up

Yeah, fair play, Bellers
I thought when I saw how down he was looking at half-time that he was gutted for Hughes but he showed what a good lad he is

When people slag him off for imaginary 'trouble causing' I feel like punching their lights out. Great pro, young players loved him, team mates loved him, fans loved him until some turned on him for no reason. Bigged the club up as he always does in public & from what I've heard; when people speak to him in private too.

LOL. That's what he wants you to think about him. Don't let him fool you. Deep down he wanted a Fulham win today.

Like i have said before, he would be fantastic in politics.

Bellamy was everything today that a true professional should be about - and I'm proud to say this about a player who is at our club.

Jo, I thought gave us something different today, his used his ariel prescence to good effect and linked up well generally without being spectaculalr, but he certainly played his part in that special first 45min.

It is true to say he did fade somewhat after about 65 mins. He is a completely different player to Bellamy, but given a choice you'd obviosuly rather have Bellers in your squad, I just think it's worth pointing out that Jo, os often an easy target, did contribute today.
