Except the fact that Carlos hit the ball with his shoulder, which is not to be considered handball.

Ancelotti is in a different league to Roberto at the moment. Chelsea are going through a bit of a bad patch right now, but much of it is down to their injury problems. League is wide open now.

Just goes to show how lucky we were to get a point against Brum.

Difficult to tell right now. Chelsea go to Newcastle next weekend, which won't be an easy game. Then again, it's a cliche, but there are no easy games in this league.

Now that Brum and Black Cats have beaten Chelsea suddenly I feel our win over them earlier in the season wasn't as special as I thought it was at the time. :-(

No goals in the last 2 games, only 1 goal in the last 4, only 1 league win since October, far too negative, blah blah blah...

Won the double with chelsea last year, scored more goals than any other team this season, best defence and top of the premier league with an emphasis on playing free flowing football.
The comparissons are mental.

I noticed you had pointed that out earlier in the thread, but I thought it was a bit of an embarrassing statement so I didn't want to bring it up. But now that you have -
You can't be fucking serious with that statement???!!

A lot of clubs seem to have had a shift in mentality in terms of how they approach the league. Less and less teams just playing with 10 men behind the ball, and much more attacking football overall.

No mate, I don't know the goings on at Chelsea. To be honest, I don't actually know all the goings on at any club, so you won't have to ask me that one again.
Now, back in the real world. I'm a football fan who keeps a general eye on other teams and managers and I don't believe that Ray Wilkins was the manza behind Chelsea's double. No more than I thought Brian Kidd was behind United's treble.
Assistant managers are important, but what you're trying to intimate is fucking ridiculous chief.
Ancellotti already won the champions league FFS. And I'm sure he doesn't have Ray fucking Wilkins to thank for that.

answers on the back of a stamp...
I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days....before you've actually left them...

Wilkins, Terry, Lampard et al have all combined to put a
? against their title credentials. They have only registered 19 players for the Prem which should be a massive concern for them.
NB. Apparently they pummelled Brum but just couldn't get through.
Edit: Just to back that bit up, astounding stats:

1 Goals 0
1 1st Half Goals 0
1 Shots on Target 9
1 Shots off Target 15 1 Blocked Shots 8

Oh and the mighty Wilkins was there for the successful Scolari era too. That should be the end of the argument.
