Micah v Boateng.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Micah v Boateng.

Postby carl_feedthegoat » Sat Nov 13, 2010 4:59 pm

There is no fucking way this guy is ahead of Micah...he is slower than the Titanic and slows play down.

Micah has his faults but he knows how to fucking run and start an attack on that side...................seriously...Boateng better than Micah ?????

Your having a laugh.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Are they reserve/super team/mega mix/development squad players? And a seven man midfield with no keeper/strikers? I think you are a revolutionary.

Yeah, I thought today would have been a day for Micah to get a run. Both have their qualities.

Boateng has been hopeless the last two games, Micah should be in the team.

I expect to Mancini stick with Boateng through thick and thin at the expense of Micah though.

He's fucked off good players who he hasn't bought quite happily just to stand by his favs.

On form Micah burst into the England team and was spoken about as a 25m defender with all the big 4 interested.

So have to disagree on that one.

But in November 2010 Micah is nowhere near the national team, no big 4 club is remotely interested and he would fetch less than a third of £25m

On forn Boateng burst into the German national team - and far more recently than Micah's arrival on the scene

On form Zabba is the best RB in the team and he deserves to play - continuing with Boateng (without first giving him a rest) would be playing him because of reputation even though he is out of form and is showing many faults - playing Micah ahead of Zabba would be more or less the same playing him because of past perceived potential despite a long long run of mistakes, lack of concentration and lack of football skills.

I would play Zabba until someone forces their way back in. I think that Mancini will stick with Boateng because he wants a RB that can go forward and link up play, get down the wing and get crosses in - Boateng has shown he can do that for Germany but is failing with us - Micah has shown he simply cannot do it no matter how many runs in the team he gets.

Having Boateng at right back is better than having nobody at rightback, and that is exactly what Micah is, a missing man, constantly day dreaming out of position.

Neither are good enough at the moment but Micah has had his chance and is proven not intelligent enough.

For me it is between Zabba and Boateng.

I thought Boateng did ok for the most part. Looks like he's gradually coming to terms with the Prem. Him & Micah are swings & roundabouts imo but I rate Micah much higher as a defender AT THIS POINT. Both could play together in the future if Micah keeps improving. He can take Kolo's job eventually.
