Fergie's mind games ?

Postby Dubaimancityfan » Tue Nov 09, 2010 11:54 am

Manchester United's preparations for the derby at Manchester City have been hampered by injuries and a virus affecting some of their players.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled Ryan Giggs and Owen Hargreaves out of the game, while Nani is a doubt.

"Ryan is out," said Ferguson. "Nani is doubtful. At this stage it doesn't look as if he will make it."

A flu virus has also put a doubt over several players and Ferguson added: "We are counting heads at the moment."

Paul Scholes, Dimitar Berbatov and Nemanja Vidic are believed to be three players suffering from the virus.

"I've no idea where to begin with my team, no ideas at all at the moment," said Ferguson

How cynical you are.
Presumably you need a functioning mind before you can play mind games.

I do hope we sold them that.

And don't be surprised to see Rooney make a miraculous recovery either.

Word. They will all play anyway. I remember the strange looking reserve side he said he was going to put out for the Carling Cup game last season.

Yeah the twat always used to say Mark Hughes was injured too (who?) but he always used to crawl off his deathbed to score against us.

If I had to decide one way or the other, I would want every rag fit and available, one less excuse when we beat them.

Agreed...I want them at full strength...perhaps it's a cunning ploy by Taggart to be an excuse when we tonk them

I would like G. Neville-Cunt to play. It will be his last derby before he decomposes and gets converted into Neville-Nuggets to be sold in the swamp shop. It would be nice for Tevez to rip him a new one while scoring a hat trick.

Cant see him taking the field again in a serious match after his first-half display at Stoke, mate. Embarassing was the word, and only because of another biased ref he didn't get sent off.

Why does anyone listen to Ferguson's mind games? It is a waste of time, just like arguing with senile seniors in the park who have already lost their minds...

I don't think there are any top managers in the Prem who actually take notice of his little tricks now, they all know he has had his time and they are concentrating on their own teams.

I do like how Mancio calls him 'Ferguson' without even a flinch, unlike the 'Sir Alex' lickers such as Gollum and the Elephant Man.
