Sad about Ireland, though. Has a lot of talent but a fundamental lack of mental strength and work ethic. There are some things that you just cannot help with any amount of coaching...
What makes it worse is the tabloid revelations about his amusing spending decisions...re-doing the interior and rims of a Range Rover in pink, simply awful...

In his defense, during his wonder season, lack of effort was not a problem, and last season constant injury hampered his effort level. Played when not fit.

The Range Rover was his girlfriends, shit and tacky yes, but not his.

Theres no doubting his natural ability, its his mental block and he only seems interested if he is played in his favourite position, as position which is abit of a luxury for most teams in the league, because it compromises the defences cover, the midfields strength and usually costs a striker too.

He'll end up being at QPR, before fading away at Celtic in his late 20's, and retire from football before he reaches 30.
