Very impressive today. Everyone put in a good shift. Worked hard for each other for the full 90mins, which isn't bad for a 'team in crisis'. Any commentator/pundit who still insists on calling Yaya a holding midfielder after that display needs a kick in the hoop.

It was certainly a performance that defied all this "in-fighting" crap that we have to read on a daily basis. A similar shift on Wednesday night could well see another victory. Here's hoping

agree 100% sweetcheeks. That's the mentality we need to display every match if we're going to win something.

Balotelli...well...what can you say. Everyone saw it coming a mile away.

cheers

Reminds me of a certain Mr Rooney a couple of years ago. I wonder if he'll get the same indulgence from refs etc?

It won't matter. We have got loads of good players. The munes have got about five, with possibly one who might make it into our starting XI - and he's sniffing his career up his nose (or so I've heard).

I don't think you'd be laughing if West Brom had turned the game around after the sending off. :)
Incredibly stupid by Mario especially when already on a yellow.

No, I would still be laughing.....but for different reasons.

agreed it was fucking stupid.....but totally expected this from him. To be fair, Adebayor is several years older than Mario, with less of a reputation as a headcase and did something just as stupid, but more unforgivably so, when he stamped on RvP.

neither covered themselves in glory with those kind of antics but i'll give mario more latitude....he's a kid and he is new to the PL....he'll hopefully learn. Adebayor shouldn't have "needed to learn"

Yap, though if he had Milner's head amongst his ears he would be better than Messi already.
The bet is to take and win, hopefully.

Mancini said we're going to appeal, but he was still annoyed with Balotelli for getting involved.

Anyone seen how Chris Brunt was winding up Balotelli during the entire match?
Talking shit to him, leaving his legs out when tackling and then in one incident even blatently kicking him as Mario ran away from him with the ball... that happened right under the eyes of the referee as well, how that was not at least a yellow I will never know.

If there's an appeal, does that mean that Mario won't be banned 'til after the derby? I hope so. He's going to make C*ntona look like Mary fupin' Poppins, and I want the rag twats to witness it first hand.

I'd worry about him getting sent off again!

If we appeal he's available for Weds but will face an increased ban if we lose. Bacon did the same with the camel faced one so that he would be available for a derby as i seem to remember.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.
