Some things are far to serious to argue about. Swales was an absoulete disaster to our club. Make no mistake about it. He got in charge of a club among the elite in europe. He left it more or less bakcrupt in the second tier. He was a waste.

That's about right. And in answer to the thread - we would no longer be in existence.

Oh how lovely. A thread disrespecting the memory of a dead blue who dedicated his life to our club!

Exactly, just because a person dies doesn't mean they're past is forgotten. Its sad that Alan Ball died but he was a fucking awful city manager

Really? How did he make money out of a failing club?

The truth is, he lost a lot of money trying to make City successful. Ok, he failed, but that's hardly reason to disrespect his memory.

Alan Ball was not a Blue. Peter Swales was a Blue. Big difference.

I did feel ashamed when people were chucking stuff through his shop windows to get him out etc, because he was first and foremost a blue.. But that doesn't make him exempt from any criticism because his reign has a lot to answer for. Francis Lee then proved that any blue can cock it up just as well.

I honestly think passionate one-club football people cannot make sensible decisions about their own club. They think with the heart not the head.
