Bob would be fired today. Kiddo would be in charge v WBA. Diego Maradona would be in charge for the rags game: 0-5.

Nah, Megson would be what we ended up with next May after we'd sacked Maradona, had Rijkaadrd for a couple of months, brought Joe Royle out of retirement for a brief but fun spell & poached Harry from Spurs but sacked him under mysterious circumstances just as it seemed we were about to qualify for the Chump's Lg.

Strangely, I have nothing against Peter Swales. All the years I've been going I never really had a bad word, probably because I was more interested in the game and the camaraderie that we had. He was our owner and also part of our history, that's just the way I see it. For me, we'd never been the top team of yester-year so by keeping us in the limelight he did the job OK; also brought in a few big name signings aswell.

What was funny was the change in ownership, Not!

That devious little git would still be syphoning money out of the club.

City made Swales, not the other way around.

You make him sound like a real life Arthur Daley.
