Not aimed at you Johnny....But who exactly gives a Fuck about what Ned Boulting has to say. Are we answerable to any media outlet?

Like I said in another thread, I think the club should veto any assistance with the media, until this witch hunt ceases

Not sure he was, kept quoting from his vast managerial experience regarding what Mancini should do, some comments made sense, but in the main he was just criticizing our tactics. He was of course a massive success as a manager and is still out of work!

From last nights thread. Funny how he was all over Mancini during the pre-match interview though.
Beefymcfc wrote:Feckin' hell, Mancini's just rudely interupted 'Muggin's' (ITV commentator) to get Milner out of an interview because he had to rush off to get a look at the pitch. Thank feck Mancini see's the game as a priority, other than another gash interview over our player bust-ups!

The way I look at it, sackings, or anything controversial for that matter, sells papers. If things pick up for us, and we then see a similar dip in form in January (say) what's going to happen? The same thing....the media calling for Mancini's head.

To this end, regardless of the amount of money we have invested, there is definitely sacred cows in the game at all levels.

These are usually anyone from the big four, and anyone else who is doing a percieved "good job" on meagre rashions....usually Tony Pulis, Roy Hodgson (when at Fulham), and usually the same people who are able to give the media a major sound bite to work with (a la Holloway the other week)

Because we aren't towing their line or fitting their agenda, because we have spent a few bob, we're a target. But seasons last 9 months and not just 3. Baconface was given three years and was going to be sacked before they won the FAC remember. So lets navigate the currently choppy waters, and hope a calmer passage lies just ahead.
