Cant buy the Title - says Fabregas

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Cant buy the Title - says Fabregas

Postby brite blu sky » Wed Oct 20, 2010 4:07 pm

Is that the best he can come up with?

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6456813,00.html

Pathetic. I think it says more about them than us.

I hope we completely blow them to bits.

I hope we get them in the FA cup and trash them.

And i hope West Brom beat them to 4th.

No he is right. You cant buy the title.

If you have 9 trillion dollars though you can buy footie club, then a load of footballers who if they play to their potential under the correct management can form a winning team that will win you the title!

He is stating the fuckin obvious really. But if he wants to really make a point try winning it without spending any money Mr. C Clogs otherwise stop being a numpty and shut up.

Your point still stands. I'm surprised at his comments as Arsenal's lack of spending his hit him harder than any player. Had he spent the last five years of his career playing for a manager who recognised the need to buy top class players at the peak of their powers, in key positions, then his medal cabinet would be bulging.

We havent baught the title though, like the poster above said weve assembled a squad of players that are capable of winning the title, were building a winning team for the future which in return will win us trophies.

Amazing he wants to go to a club which regularly buys in players for their challenge. Admittedly, they have a group of homegrown talents at present.

But how would you join them? Oh yeah forgot you thick cockerspan twat... They'd be buying you.

If you actually read what's written he doesn't say that you can't buy the title.

Another case of the media and, subsequently, forum posters jumping the gun(ner) methinks.

Fabregas maintained: "You cannot buy the spirit in one year."

This coming from a player who has been desperate to leave his club, what does that do for spirit?

I am sure when we win a Title he will be telling everyone how we bought our way to the title...
