I think Nigel Clough was just shit scared of the ball to be honest. I was only a kid when he signed, and I really couldn't understand why when one City player had the ball he'd run the other way!

Bob Taylor - rubbish signing
David James - never felt safe with Calamity in net
Ged Brannon - typical City, was awesome for Tranmere but couldn't cope with the pressure for us

Yes I was there when he put the V's up to us. Still, some on here have him as a hero but he was absolutely fucking abysmal!

Ha funny that cos I loved Steve Howey. Was consistently our best player for me one season I thought.
