I wonder if we will see similar scenes in Leicester as we did on his arrival in Turkey

Vassell is best Sven can do at this tage and Leicester's squad is pathetic. Have to say getting in Curtis Davies, Kyle Naughton and Vass OUTSIDE TRANSFER WINDOW in couple of weeks is impressive.

I read some opinions of Leicester supporters week back or so and their reaction to Sven appointment was laughable. He is as good manager as they could ever dream of getting yet they all seem to think he was bad appointment. Mind boggles.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

On loan but still. That's as good signing as you can possibly imagine for a team third from bottom in Championship.

That's a sound suggestion. In fact, I'd be surprised if we hadn't received a phone call already.

Good on the pair of them, I'll always have a soft spot for Vass, and the first half of that season under Sven was magic (that may have something to do with the second half of the season before). Plus the win at the swamp give them both legend status to me.

he actually scored in quite a few derbies, i'm not gonna lie vassell wound me up something rotten but there is something likeable about him and he is very much a legend in a cult hero kind of way and as for sven, what a legend hope they come up soon its great having sven in the premiership.

Funny you saying that about Vass scoring in derbies. Made me think of the home derby where he missed the penno. I was at the game and still haven't seen it, I still dont know if he put outside a post, over the bar, hit the woodwork or it was saved.
When we got the penalty, i just knew it wasn't going in and couldn't look, and after the groans went up I found everyone around me had done the same.
Still love the guy though.
