They seem happy enough here.

They are saying that NOW when they have two wins and a draw under Sven! I read their opinions when he was appointed and everyone seemed to be dead against him! Hope they feel suitably embarrased now.

Point is, Sven might not be the best manager in the world right now (he once was though) but for a Club in the root of Championship he is absolutely brilliant appointment who WILL do business there. If they stick with him and give him bit of room to operate they will be promoted next season. It's bit like when we appointed Keegan. Sure he had character flaws, everyone knew that, but he was absolute best we could've done. That's why it was quite disappointing for me to see so many people have pop at him here at the time.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

When I read Vass was now a free agent I thought he might be ideal for the RAGS or the Dippers in their current circumstances. But then I guess he turned them down for a blue team.

I've got all the time in the world for Vass. He never was a great player and always relied on good confidence to score but he was there when the club really needed him. Give the guy a season up front and he would always repay your faith with 15 goals or so. Superb grafter and even better always made a contribution on derby day! : )

Like VASS a lot, but he infuriated me with his lazy ass attitude to getting back onside, he was a player that had me off my seat... SCREAMING AT THE LAZY FUCKER TO GET ONSIDE

I was there. Worst hangover ever going into the game, it was unseasonably cold for April and the Sunderland fans were scum. That said, that goal and the just as ridiculous penalty that Sturridge won and elano scored cheered me up no end.
