Fair enough, give Mancio a pat on the back for doing his job, but please don't go sucking his plums because we beat Blackpool 3-2. We may be 2nd in the league but it's nothing more than I'd expect with the team we've got and the other forerunners not getting the results they'd normally expect.

Lets be honest, its very finely balanced.

Last season if you turn those Hughes home draws into wins, we'd have walked into 4th, probably 3rd.

But, we didnt win them, we drew.

Mancini is winning the games where we arent playing very well at all. Which is great, but only a midgets dick away from being a fan having shit thrown at it

Yep he is doing a great job and I don't care if it's not pretty or a few decisions go our way. One thing I have heard since I was a kid is champions win even when they don't play to there full potential and that's what we are doing. As for the other teams not winning the games they would normally expect to even if they all won yesterday we would still be sitting second right now.

I must admit that even though our matchplay worries me a little, I'm more than happy with our position and Mancio on the whole.

Let's face it, things could be decidedly worse, just ask the feckers down the way ;-)

so far so good this season - I don't like the football we're playing as I've been on record as saying before. I like to believe, as many do, its a "building a winning mentality" exercise rather than a this is how its going to be forever more type scenario
