He still needs more time to settle and adjust but YES he has amazing talent and could become one of the best players in the Premier League. His introduction changed the whole face of the game and what a stunning goal

I always thought he was the dogs and today he proved it..........if he can outplay and out muscle players from a team like Blackpool he will have no problem with anyone else in this league.

Class.

What's really pleasing me is that there's a hunger among our substitutes to prove the manager wrong. Last time against Newcastle Johnson gets left out, comes on and changes the game. Today, Silva does exactly the same. He was a class act when he came on and we looked 100% better with him roaming around.

clever, skillful, quick, intelligent and committed. sees openings, makes openings, causes blind panic in defences. he has something of the best bits of kinkladze, ireland and ali b. not bad at all david, welcome to manchester.

about, what, 78 times more effective that adebayor?

A really really intelligent footballer. Lovely touch and awareness of what's going on around him. Pretty much exactly the opposite of Adebayor.

Funny to hear Mancini say that Adebayor played a good game.

Superb player, always was but is also showing few signs of needing time to adjust to this league.

On the other hand, Adam Johnson showed again today why he's probably needful of limited match time.

He said that publicly, but is he really believing himself while saying that? I'd bet on a "no"

Silva is...the real deal!

Credit to Silva who was amazing, but all three subs came on and did a great job.

I'm starting to believe that's the salesman in Mancini speaking.

Perfect environment for him, a tiring Blackpool back 4 and us starting to push on. I wonder if Mancio planned it that way as I was saying to the lad that it would be perfect timing, and that was in the 1st 20.

Really changed the game - Quality.

Yeah good shout, the change in our midfield and ball retention when Vieira came on was very noticeable. Richards looked a bit better defensively than Boateng as well.
