Malcom was in the social club before a Derby game a few years ago and the respect shown to him by all present was immense and is something that will stay with me for a long long time.

Thank you Mr Allison for what you did for our club, you will never be forgotten.

Now that Mal mas passed...maybe the club should be looking at doing/naming something after two of our greatest coaches?

I read his autobiography 'Colours of my Life' this year. An amazing character.

Rest in peace Big Mal.

Would imagine there will be a remembrance/tribute for him by the club at the Poznan game on Thursday.

Club ambassador Mike Summerbee added: "Malcolm changed football by making us train like athletes, in that respect he was ahead of his time and he was a great tactician as well.
"He was also one of the lads - in effect he was the twelfth player from the sidelines but he knew how to crack the whip and we respected him.
"He was a great psychologist; he knew how to handle me and how to get more out of me. He did the same for Colin Bell, Francis Lee, Neil Young and all of that great side."

I heard this earlier this morning, such terrible news. RIP Big Mal, gone but never forgotten!
