We have won 4 trophies over the past 4 seasons and the core of the team has won those - Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Silva, Toure, Aguero.

Its because most of the time they spout shit but dont remember the shit they spouted before, so with every new piece of shit that is spouted they make themselves look even bigger twats, and ultimately, when the newspapers go out of business, and a lot of them will eventually, I'll have the champagne on ice.

To my mind, all those people on this forum who reckon that, eventually, City will become finally accepted and that the media hatred against us will cease, are completely deluded.

The media will never, ever stop hating us and the agenda against City will never fade away because it's now ingrained beyond eradication.

It's become almost a way of life and, with the paucity of brain cells that these so called 'journalists' possess between them, they don't have the intelligence, capacity or individuality to break out of their cast-iron mindset(s).

City will never receive the respect that our football merits and the Club - and our owners - will never have the high regard which is thoroughly deserved for what has been achieved.......which is why any success we achieve now and in the future, will always taste much sweeter than would have been thought possible.

P.S. All this comparison with slugs is, surely, being a little harsh on every poor slug in the world.

More fans we get around the world, more media people we get. True. won't change many who are there now, but in ten years there will be lots more City people in the media, because it will be worth pandering to City fans as well as rags etc.

Can I just point out , this side of the globe(Latin America and the Caribbean) the journos and TV presenters are fucking non biased in every way and its a joy to hear them commentating on our games.

Its only the fuckign slime in the UK that spew slime over our club , these same cunts are one of the reasons we are shit as at world cups ect as they champion the likes of Shrek and other useless cretins that play for their favored old school top 4 teams and campaign for them to get into the national side.

Wankers - thank fuck I only listen to Spanish audio on match day....I don't think I could handle it otherwise.

Just thought I'd bump this to the top awaiting JCs update.

That fucking cunt of a twat Barclay needs a fucking slap. To say Platini should be congratulated for our CFA and give no credit whatsoever to anybody at the club deserves a fish around the face. When Slugsworth states that it's just a protection system for the likes of the Rags et al he then tries to rant on about our club.

If that bile can be spouted on TV just think what goes on behind the scenes.

Agenda & bias from the media? Very much so.

Barclay has been sucking on a lemon overnight. Some proper bile from him today - outraged apparently for the interests of New York City FC. Never realised he was such a fan?

I'm not sure who he supports, is it the Rags or Chavs?

Chavs, but LOVES pretty much all the 'old guard' & especially Ferguson.

I think he has an 'in' with Mourinho, so won't be enjoying us very much.

Barclay is the BIGGEST slug in football journalism. If people took his poison seriously he would do appalling damage to the way people view football. Thankfully, nobody pays any serious attention to what this bile-ridden, self-loathing lump of scum has to say. May his death be painful and protracted.

Cheers mate, I thought that but was unsure with his Rag rantings. Easy mistake to make.

Watched a few minutes of it but too stomach churning to continue longer than that.

Slogans such as "sharp practice" and "dangerous precedent", that they were spouting (about the Lampard loan) in their 'holier than thou', highly principled, for the good of football crusading tones, were particularly cringeworthily hypocritical.

Nothing but pure out-and-out poison.......and to think that there are some people on this forum who still reckon there is no media agenda against us.

My goodness, what world are they living in ??

"chelsea can feel a bit hard done by.."
WHY?..they didnt offer him the deal he wanted, obviously..I'm sure Lampard considered everything before making his decision

"you cant hold a gun to frank lampards head"
no, you cant barclay you sanctimonious prick

"If it were the other way round chelsea would be getting pelters"
well, if we are getting pedantic why not dredge up their illegal approach for kakuta..is that not "sharp practice"?...I'm also sure if THAT were the other way round we'd still be getting pelters for that as well
