A request for Tevez's song

Postby the_georgian_genius » Sun Oct 03, 2010 4:06 pm

Can we bin it? Not only is it shit but i had the awkward moment of trying to explain to my 6 year old nepthew why i wasn't singing his favourite players song and what munich meant.

Something simple as thats the only thing that gets sung nowadays but how about this to the tune of "34 years and were still here" but sung different to fit the words.

CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
CARLOS TEVEZ KING OF MANCHESTER
and so on and on

A lot of people misunderstand what Munich means in the context of aiming it at the rags.

It is not a celebration of death. We lost our very own Blues on that flight as well. It is a reference to how thousands of people from everwhere, jumped on the devilworhippers sympathy bandwagon and the club milked it and abused it to fucl. A lot of the fuclers knew fucl all about football or the club itself. They were just lemmings and sheep.

At the same time, he clearly didn't hate the rag fans, but fergie's probably off his xmas card list, so 'he hates fergie' is more accurate and politically correct.

As an aside, and I know others will have a different view, but i wish we'd stop using 'munich'. Yes, I understand Burt's point, but to the outside world, it looks like a celebration of death & i'd rather we were seen as complete scum. Rich scum I'm ok with

Dont see a probably with it really, much rather ditch spelling out U.NI.T.E.D or saying ''fergie''. I feel uncomfortable saying either.

You know that and I know that, but we are both of that generation. I don't think thats how it's generally seen nowadays. It's certainly not seen that way by the lads who were so fond of singing the runway song on the concourse, that was IMO sick. Fortunately not heard it for a season or two. I think we 're doing ourselves more harm than good using the term now as anyone under 30 doesn't really understand it, and it probably does sound like a celebration of death to them.

The step-son (who's a rag) asked me who Taggart was yesterday as we add this in instead of singing Munich. I explained to him that we have more respect than to sing the Munich bit and the reason regarding Taggart, and strangely he was more interested in the Taggart bit.

Try being honest, it does the trick for me.

It was easily the best song for years and it couldve been adapted too.

For the argie man we sing this song, tevez tevez
He came to us from the dirty reds, tevez tevez
He never really had a doubt
What the move was all about
Carlos Tevez never was a red.

And when we see him on the pitch, tevez tevez
Captain of the City side, tevez tevez
He cups his ears and gives a wave
He was never going to be Taggarts Slave
Gary Neville you fucking ugly cunt,.
Hark now hear, The City sing, United ran away, And we will fight for ever more, Because of Derby day.

Didn't someone on here do:

We used to have a song for you, Tevez! Tevez!
But since you've gone from red to blue, Tevez! Tevez!
You made us change the fuckin' words.
We bet you've shagged loads of birds!

Sang Loud and Proud. Guess the Tune?

Carlos, Tevez, give me your answer do.
We're half crazy loving the sight of you.
You came to play in heaven,
the Argies Number Eleven,
Don't he look sweet,
in the sky Blue seat,
of the City's 32.

Sort of has another connotation as well. And for those who are easily offended, it seems a better option.
