Hart
Boateng Kolo Vinnie Zabaleta
De Jong
Yaya Barry
Milner Johnson
Tevez

Toughest choice for me is between Milner/Silva. I think Milner's been on a string of poor form lately, but I also think he'll provide mroe defensively than Silva.
Going with Zaba over Lescott so we get forward a little more.

Stop fullbacks maybe but their wide men are gonna kill us. 3-5-2 against the best side in the league is suicide mate.

I cannot believe you would include RSC in the side.....I wouldnt have him serving tea.

Silva has to play I reckon. He's getting in to it, don't knock him off his stride.

Well Chelsea have got Lampard, Kalou and Benayoun out, They may look like this;

------------------Cech-------------------

Ivanovic----Alex----Terry-----A.Cole

-----Essien-----Mikel------Ramires---

Anelka---------Drogba---------Malouda-

We can match that if we play like we did against Scouse 1.

That's no shabby line up that either though.

I have a bad feeling about this one.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Me too, but I dont think it is totally beyond us, they are coming with more to lose, we are already off to a stuttered start and City are not expected to win this one. They have a massive amount of pressure on them, especially with the media mentioning we are their first big test of the season every two minutes. I cant see us winning this one, but I am hoping for a point.

Hang on!

We sacrificed a place in the league cup for the HOPE of a point then?

You've been coming out with some tosh mate but that takes the biscuit.

That would do for me.Plenty of strength in the engine room and i do feel we will have to out muscle them in midfield if we are going to get a result.Hopefully get another inspired display from Dejong against Chelsea he was awesome against them last season.
Also have Johnson and Milner to unleash on them if the shit does hit the fan.
Have a feeling it will be a great game tomorrow.

Dejong at his best

i wouldn't give anyone their competitive debut against chelsea. boateng wouldn't even make bench for me even if he was fit.

Tosh? Because I support the manager aswell as the team? Cock off!

The League Cup was sacrificed for much more than one game, and we'd have much less chance had our first team played 72 hours before we faced Chelsea, are you really that bitter about that crappy nothing cup.

On or off the field, he's a player. Yellow card bloke is an auto, let's enjoy his Kompany!
