Ok, we only heard the commentary obviously but am I wrong when I say it sounded like he was probably one of the most influential forwards we had there. Ahead of RSC I'm sure but I often heard the commentator getting excited when he had the ball.

According to Fred Eyre, who's son is a youth team coach at City, Guidetti was played out of position & unsurprisingly struggled. Had I been the manager, he's one of several players I would have picked, but played him in his correct role. Hopefully Mancini's stupid fucking ploy hasn't spoiled his confidence as I think he's got something to offer as a striker, maybe even this season.

This would have been an ideal competition for him & Boyata to get experience if we hadn't chucked it down the shitter by teaming them up with inexperienced no hopers.

Easy....yet manager shoots through expensive italian footwear! Footballers are not blessed with an abundance of grey matter in the main but this is just daft!! Guidetti was pretty annonymous in the first half but played more central in the 2nd with Jo moving to the right and he did better. Unfortunately he lacks pace and got skinned by the WBA no.6 a few times. He should have had a pen but the ref was one of the worst ever (missing the pen and booking City players and not booking WBA players for same offences).

Based on 2nd half 8/10 for effort and 5/10 for goal threat (compared to RSC he was a world beater).

It was his first game for the first team so I think he did OK.
