Football cliche's that ex pro's use

Postby eastlands-lostboy » Wed Sep 22, 2010 11:56 am

This morning on tv "Cash Casino" (Cascerino) was talking about potential banana skins this morning. Others talk about stone wall penalties, hand bags, push and skin, nutmegged him, daisy cutter and so on. When I hear it I know what there on about but my younger nephews talk another football language they say to me "Uncle Allan he's Bos" I say that's good "in it" they say "no he's a Bag Of Shit" what other old time sayings can you remember, not sick as a parrrot, game of two halves, maybe some local ones.
My wife says " You only support City because they keep going down on you"
