West Brom predictions

Postby Moonchesteri » Wed Sep 22, 2010 7:57 am

WBA 1

City 0

I have a horrible feeling about this match. I hope we don't put out as weak team as I'm afraid of.

PLEASE City and lads, whoever gets the pick tonight, prove me wrong and beat them!

When was the last time we won 3 away games in a row?
I will go for a 1.1 draw and a win on penalties.

2-1, could go either way with this result, though. AJ to get on the scoresheet.

I've no idea which side will play so I've no idea about the result. If Adebayor plays though, I'd like to think he'll pull out all the stops & try to make himself undroppable like Tevez did in that competition for the rags. If he does that & then can't get a game in the PL, he has grounds for complaint. He's got the talent to win us that cup on his own if he pulls his finger out.

Adebadleg i hope gets a start and shows us what he can do.

It looks like there will be wholesale changes to the line up so in that sense anything could happen. Brom go to the Emirates and i doubt very much they will be wanting to give Arsenal even more chance to trounce them, so im going with the logic that WBA will field a weakened side too. It is going to be a difficult game no doubt and a player like Ade could be the difference if he wants to go out there and make trouble.
Not going to make a prediction till the teams are announced.

we'll lose 0-1 in extra time and nobody will care because it is the Carling Cup.

I think we will win quite comfortably, we may field a weakened team, but it will still be full of internationals. Went on a WBA forum and apparently they are also playing a weakened team. So us to win

I fancy Guidetti to score if he gets a game.

I can't predict anything until I see the teams. We should win comfortably, but if its WBA prem team vs City res then we'll get dicked IMO.

If we play a second team I hope we play an attacking formation, I just dont see the point in playing a defensive line up in a match that has to be decided on the night. This could be a game for Silva to really find his feet and show his class. I would expect Given to play behind an experimental back four so he might have a chance to shine.... City not to conceded though

0-3

WBA 0 - City 1.

Horrible ground to play away at, and we always seem to struggle. A.Johnson to score, but it will be very tight.

Hopefully Scunthorpe will do a Brentford over the Scummers tonight.
