Player ratings v Mackems?

Postby Kladze » Sun Aug 29, 2010 4:30 pm

Hart = 7 ....... had little to do and did it.
Richards = 6 ...... solid enough defensively but a waste of space going forward (I won't mention the pen)
Toure = 8 ........ played well in his defensive role, distributed the ball well.
Kompany = 9 ........ excellent - don't need to say any more.
Lescott = 6 ....... see Richards.
Johnson = 5 ........ ineffective, I'd have have subbed him for Silva a lot earlier.
Yaya = 7 ........ superb in the first half but all but disappeared after the break.
De Jong = 8 ....... another good show.
Barry = 7 ........ again a player who only turned up for the first half.
Milner = 6 ........ decidedly average today.
Tevez = 5 ......... Worked hard enough but wasn't at the races at all - I'd have given him a 6 but for THAT miss which may well have cost us all three points.

Agree totally with you, mate, and I would add a 5 to Mancio who was too nervous to understand substitutions today could have made earlier!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Hart = 7 - I cant complain with the pen given the time, the score and who was taking it?
Richards = 4 - Should never bring someone down in the box in injury time, plus he wanders about too much!!
Toure = 7
Kompany = 8
Lescott = 6
Johnson = 5
Yaya = 7 - Needs to lose weight.
De Jong = 8
Barry = 6 - Has this guy ever tackled anyone ever?
Milner = 7
Tevez = 6 - Shouldnt be so greedy.

Would disagree with only Milner, totally ineffective today, as was Johnson whose mark relects that, yet if Carlos & Yaya had taken their chances, we would have won comfortably. Hurry up back Boeteng, Richards is a liability, better than last season, but doesn't have a football brain. Thought the penalty was offside, but didn't show up on BBC

I didn't see the game live but was quite amazed that no fucler on MOTD even referred to the point that Bent was CLEARLY offside. what's the point in diagnosing a game when you miss something like that. Made me paranoid as fuck after I'd seen it. Just a passing comment about it would have been fair. Why was it not brought up?

because they want us to lose with all their hearts and if they had to admit that we should not have lost like we did it would be too much for them.
