9 mate.

Not sure how much longer I'll be able to do this. A day's rest really isn't enough for me to recover from 90 minutes (at my age!), and the timings are really starting to grate, not to mention the constant pissing about trying to sort out extra players because in essence, we simply do not have enough people to field a team. Plus it takes me 20 mins to get to and from the pick up point, and when we finish playing at 11' o'clock, my beauty sleep is all but written off. Limping through Longford Park shivering with football sweat in the dead of night isn't as much fun as it sounds, and it sounds shit.

Sorry to sound like a miserable get, just bein honest.

Yeah its just started to be too much of a pain in the arse when we havent got players. Finish this season then pack it in for the winter and think i might just come run around at platt lane on thursdays instead as its the same time every week there isnt it? plus its only £3 and not £9

Any chance of having a full team for the final game bob? How much are me jerome and chris going to have to pay this week then now?

Understandable mate.

I don't want to go in net at all. If I injure my hands I can't work and can't earn any money, and I've only got one finger and my thumbs that I haven't broken playing five a side. Not keen to get the full set.

If we're gonna drop out of the league, why wait?

Here's a thought - Ashton; if Bob isn't playing, how are you getting there?

I've previously gotten a lift from a mate who's played for us in the absence of getting a lift from Bob. At this rate I'll have to leave at about 8 to get there on time. This is total bollocks. Not keen.

Anyone going from near/via the Chorlton/Stretford area?

I will call tomorrow and drop out of the league, the problem is if I do it now, we still have to pay, but if its a pain then I will do.

it will mean I will be stuck with a £77 bill as they have all my details

I spoke with powerleague and they have agreed to call the postponed game a 0-0 draw as it was impossible to get dates arranged. We are 3rd in the league with 1 game to play tomorrow. If we win we stay 3rd, we cannot be caught on goal difference.

This is a 10pm kick off against bananarama, we did these 18-6 last time and they were not 1 bit happy about it so it will be tough as they are 3 points off the top but in reality they wont win the league as arven are the better team.

We still owe powerleague for the game only Jerome and his mates turned up for and we will have to pay for tomorrow.

We need numbers for tomorrow. I will pay £13 towards the cost.

Can everyone tell me their availability please

I can probably play but im not paying more than £6.50 if i do because i've missed one game since we started and i've paid close to a tenner for most games this season and £13.50 last week.

I'm on the same thinkin as Ashton. Think i've only missed one game too (maybe 2?!) an as much as I love it, can't be payin out the arse every game. Even if I had the money too, I wouldn't want to be payin on average a tenner a game.

Did someone mention Thursday nights at Platt Lane, would this be more realistic as it's cheaper and i'd imagine easier to get to?!

We (as a squad) still need to pay for the game that Jerome and his mates stepped in and played for us.

We owe Powerleague £36.50, I have rang them and told them we are dropping out of the league, but we need to pay £36.50

Me
Ric
Jerome
Mark
Ashton
Chris

These are the main squad people, so we all have £6 to pay, any ideas of the best way to get this to powerleague? We can all ring individually and pay our own £6

Gutted its endin but even with payin a tenner each a game we still struggle to get enough players each week.

I can send money to anyone on the internet or just ring up myself, whatever is easiest.

Bob, least u can realx now an not have to bust ur balls tryna organise lol. Any news about thursdays?

Shame it ended like this :-( It looks like I will need an op as I am as bad now as when I did it and the doc said to rest it for several weeks and see how it goes.

I will need confirmation that everyone is willing to pay the £6 before I organise it with powerleague, I don't want to be left with the bill fellas.

I will pay £6.50 and mark will pay £6, we just need the others to confirm
