too early to say for me, ankle is still massive.

If it's easier you can rule me out? As I dont know if or when I'll be ok. Whatever is easiest.

yeah i guess so bob

bit shit that on a number of occasions me n ashton havent missed a game, an due to others not turnin up have paid nearer a tenner for games.

now ill be payin for games i cant make through injury, whereas previously the people who didnt turn up for whatever reason didnt pay anythin for the games they missed. does that make sense?

Bob n ric bein the exception, which i respect for for tryna keep it goin.

im borin myself, ill pay it.

Just realised I can say what I wanted to alot easier. The cost of people not turning up has been passed on to the people who turn up the most coz they have to pay more on the day e.g me n ashton mainly.

But yeah, I appreciate it is a ball ache bob an I do really appreciate all your efforts in keepin it goin. I think that work/personal stuff an injuries have all come together at a bad time that's all. Not much we can do, shit happens. There's worse things in the world such as cabbage. It is fuckin horrible.

Yeah i know where your coming from mark i didnt play for a while but had a similiar thing to you now, i still cant shoot with the outside of my foot as i get pain in my anle and foot. I have to shoot with the inside so i dont feel the pain, i was supposed to go for another x-ray but didnt go as i was walking just hope the pain goes eventually.

If its anything like what i did then you will be out for weeks mate, but i wasnt faking it trying to get out of playing football with you guys it was genuinely painful. I wouldnt of turned up on monday night with it pissing down and freezing if i was like that.

I want to carry on the team but we all work and have kids so we cant all be 100% all the time.....

Thats why i thought it was a mistake to say we only need 6 players rather than the 7, we could do with 10 players available to play mondays but the regulars always are first choice. And when the regulars are out we can call on people but seems extremely hard to find many more people in manchester who are decent at football on this site :D

Sorry for lack of input lads, been away til yesterday. For some reason I can access the site on my phone, but it won't let me log in..

Anyway, how dire is this situation? As always, I'll gladly play, depending on injuries sustained on Sunday. I'll not so gladly pay the surplus along with everyone else if that's what's needed.

If Bob wants to jack it in however, I would understand perfectly. Can't imagine there's too many of us clamouring to take on organising it in his stead. It's like trying to lassoo wasps. Surprising and disappointing that there's not enough willing and able players from this site to get a team out every week; a few injuries and we're banjaxed.

9 mate.

Not sure how much longer I'll be able to do this. A day's rest really isn't enough for me to recover from 90 minutes (at my age!), and the timings are really starting to grate, not to mention the constant pissing about trying to sort out extra players because in essence, we simply do not have enough people to field a team. Plus it takes me 20 mins to get to and from the pick up point, and when we finish playing at 11' o'clock, my beauty sleep is all but written off. Limping through Longford Park shivering with football sweat in the dead of night isn't as much fun as it sounds, and it sounds shit.

Sorry to sound like a miserable get, just bein honest.

Well i thought my mates would be available this week but one is babysitting apparently and one is ill and said he would be no good to us. So we are kinda stuck unless power league lends us players, but i hate playing with some of them.

Not sure what bob wants to do.......

As its him who is always having to organise it, and we are struggling to get 5 players now when before it was easy.
