Looking forward to Liverpool

I know there are differences of opinion on Milner, but one thing i think most agree on is that he puts in a shift in the right area of the pitch. It was this that when we finally signed him that made me think that he may well make the difference in this early part of the season while we are getting the team sorted.

I imagine he may start against Pool, and it has changed my perspective on how Mancini might set up for that game, i have the feeling he will give Bobby the confidence to go for a more attacking formation than he otherwise would have done, knowing that there are no question marks over Milner doing a job in the prem.

I would have taken a draw due to the circumstances of all the new players, but now im thinking there is no reason we cant get the win.

I'm really up for this one, just hope that Mancini doesnt blow all our optimism out of the water.

I can half understand a cagey performance so early in the season, and with a smattering of new players, but we have to set out to beat these teams, because you can be sure that they will set out to beat us at their place.

A repeat of the last Liverpool /(or for that matter any of top 8 last season)game and I will be fucking fuming, I really really hope this doesnt happen and that Bobby and the players show some ambition and spark.

I don't know really what I expected, but I was led to believe it would be exciting, ground breaking etc. Hardly ground breaking when Bolton have had a Mcdonalds, burger king, KFC, pizza hut, cinema, bowling and a bar/restaurant for home fans within spitting distance since the ground opened.

The only ground breaking thing is that the club get to trouser all the cash at ridiculously inflated prices.

Noticed this on the o/s as well,
The Blue Moon cafe will open its doors for the first time, boasting a range of mouth-watering local favourites that fuse traditional and earthy Northern classics, but without the organic premium price tag.

mmmmm, we shall see.

you don't want us to play like we against Chelski twice last season or against the gooners twice at home mate? Very strange.

I'm really looking forward to watching City but I wish we weren't playing that bunch of thuggy scouse dullards 1st game. Just hope we get an early goal, as Liverpool are unlikely to be any more interesting under Hodgepodge as they were under the Penguin.

tonights game will have helped us get a bit more confident and as i mentioned earlier Milner may help Bobby to be a bit more confident too. Still rekon he might keep it tight to begin with though BUT i would think that is more due to us still needing time rather than anything else. We have to be careful against the Scouce, but then the next three games before Chelsea appear at coms give us a chance to get settled in.

So are we all a bit more confident now for Monday?
