Sounds to me like Taggart is very close to retiring & he's ready to leave some other poor cunt with the blame for not turning Macheda, Wellbeck, the Raphael Bummer twins, Johnny Evans & Harry Ramp into worldbeaters.

I didn't read all of it but to be fair to them some of them are quite sensible.

The other issue is that Fergie has splashed out 7 mill on a player he's never even seen. I don't think even City or Cherlsea have done that. They've spent a lot of money over the years, but usually on high profile established footballers, not players who were playing in the 3rd rung of a relatively poor footballing nation.

I'm off to bleach my eyes now.

The OP is clearly as deluded as they come......

How the fuck can he have a long term plan, he'll either have retired or drank himself to death within the next couple of years.... and the last time I checked the Long Term vs Short Plan Dictionary, a couple of years certainly wasnt a definition for long term....

I managed to read a couple of pages before this little gem:

Fucking Rag Cunt wrote:We've spent money inline with the market in which we've competed. Just because Liverpool, Newcaslte and Chelsea weren't forking out £20million for Veron etc doesn't mean the Madrids of the world weren't...and European success was ultimately our target. We matched what was going on....nothing compares to what City are doing right now...because they're the only club doing it.

Didn't Real Madrid pay nearly £100m for one player last year, just after paying £60m for Kaka, and just before they signed Benzema for another £40m.

I love the way he spouts on about loyalty. Loyalty until someone waves £80M under your nose, or until you almost blind a player by kicking a boot at him, or realise the huge mistake you made with him and ship him off to Newcastle. And as for money buying nothing, ignoring all the money they have spent on other players, in the history of the premier league, they have broken the British transfer record three fucking times.
