Too good still for that level but if it's a decision for his family then good on him. Hope he's got 20 goals by Xmas

I wonder if Craig is thinking that in 6 months time, Mancini might not be around?

Who the fuck is paying his wages, cos it certainly wont be the club who came out of administration last week.

I'd rather he stayed in the reserved personally

Brilliant move for us ie. he can't do us any damage! Selling him to Spuds would have been a disaster - good on City for thinking this one through for once!

Probably the best solution for us. A 6 month loan would run out mid Feb, that can't be right? Surely the loan would be til the window opens in Jan or til the end of season. Same story of bellamy to cardiff on skytext city page but no duration of loan mentioned.

If this is true it tells us a lot about the level of ambition from the player.

I don't want to see him go, but after his outburst it's only to be expected. Cracking player on his day and when he turned up he saved our season and Hughes' bacon. I think many will admit that he has changed their opinion of him and have come to see him as a pivotal element to last years close run Champions League push.

If he does go elsewhere (more than likely), I wish him the best and hope his experience at City was a good one in the main.

PS. Can't wait for his biography, that should be fun!

Surely he doesn't have much choice in the matter. We won't let him go to any of our rivals and he doesn't want to quit the club so a loan to a side that won't do us any damage and he gets games to stay in shape with the possibilty of coming back to play for us in January seems the best option for him and us mate?

Still gutted he hasn't been named in our squad, we certainly could have done with him on Saturday, and he's FAR too good to be playing in that division.

Would have preferred him to see him go to Fulham on loan. He wouldn't have been able to play against us, he would be playing for a team who realistically shouldn't be anywhere near us in the league come May and he could easily help take a few points off our rivals.

No he doesn't have a choice. We won't let him play for us or any of of the top clubs that want him, so he either goes to Scotland, Wales or spends one of the last seasons of his career sat on his arse, not registered for either squad. Some fucking choice. At least he has an affinity for Cardiff & his kids live near there so he's got something positive from it.

They've obviously kept him available for Jan in case they decide to sack Mancini. This whole business is horrible.

so, lets send him on loan to a club who havent got a pot to piss in, and we pay his whole wages. i would much rather keep him in the squad an let him play in europe and the other competitions
