Spurs in the CL

What would you prefer - they lose against Young Boys and can't buy players they may be hoping for if they qualify, or get through and possibly struggle in the league with such high profile mid week games?

Personally, I hope they don't qualify - but I do think their league form may dip if they get through due to their lack of strength in depth.

I hope they get through, just because I like to see English clubs in Europe. The bonus would be them having to play the added games but I don't think they are planning on getting anyone else in, not at a cost that is.

I want to see them spanked by the Young Boys plain and simple, can't stand the bastards (Green Monster?).

I am shocked that they haven't signed anybody. Although they have spent a LOT in the past few seaons, has the money run out? They are planning to build a new stadium so maybe saving the pennies for that.

They got one of the biggest squads as it is so not really surprised they haven't spent money.

I don't think playing in Champion's League would hurt them that much because of the size of their squad. So I want them to get kicked out and struggle with unhappy players.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

they have a big squad, but I'm not sure it's got the strength in depth to allow too much rotation if they want to win consistently in both comps.

Considering that the train stop in Bern is Wankdorf, where the stadium is ( actually used to called Wankdorf stadium).

The Young Boys spanking spurs at Wankdorf, somehow seems quite funny and the idea of old Winker getting spanked is quite , well.... it's bordering on perversion.

I'm with all those that want them to crash and burn in the preliminary round. Not keen on Spurs and like Twitchy even less

I would like them to go through and compete in the group stage. I then want them to get battered by every club. Major distraction to the league and will lower their confidence
