They were talking on SSN earlier about how Wenger hasnt won a trophy for 5 years and it just made me realise.. I'm 34 and the last time City won anything I was 2 months old. Wait.. 'In my whole football life (from what I can remember) City have never won anything!!
' Its so fucking incredible! Especially as not long before my birth we were one of the best teams around. I just cant believe its that long lol. I was starting to think I was a bad father convincing my lad to support City.. lets just hope that we WILL now finally get somewhere. I'm convinced the first trophy will be the best no matter what it is.. I just can't wait for it! :)

Also I was thinking of things that have happened since we last won something.. heres one that gives me a reality check.. 'Thatcher happened!'. Thats how long ago it was!! ffs!

I was born the same month City last won a trophy. I'm am also thirty four.
I don't know that if that means I was born to be a City fan, but don't sweat it.
Losing doesn't last forever and when you think about all the opposing great teams
(and bad management) we've had, fuck me; we were in the same league as
Macclesfield Town, weren't we??? MACCLESFIELD!!!! That is fucked up.
