this club is rapidly losing its soul, signings after signings, no respect from other clubs or playersor supporters, the club hasnt a face to it in an iconic way, good players seemingly being left go and mostly from these islands, and bobby the negative will be gone by xmas- rollll on the new season !

There's been no soul since the PL sold it to Sky. We have more of it than most inc Chelsea & those rag shites so I'm not going to lose any sleep if we fuck them over at their own game. We were in the 3rd division when they hatched all their plans for carving up the Chump's league so they haven't got a leg to stand on slagging us.

This isnt about City though is it?
You are like smursdabomb or whatever he's called, you hate seeing Dunne, Ireland and Given being left out, which is, to be fair, understandable.

Im definitely not feeling as bad as you are but i have been feeling further away from the club since we got the money, im not sure if it is the money or just the fact i cant really afford a season ticket every year.

I used to go with my dad when i was little and his mates and even if we lost/won they got pissed listened to pink floyd and had a right laugh and chat about life and football! there was a bond between my dads friends just because they supported city they would do anything for each other! For me thats when i knew city was something special...

I had a season ticket with my dad for 10 yrs or so and i was going to every game but since the first season in the new stadium my auntie stopped paying for season tickets for me an my dad.

Maybe if i went to every game and had all that stuff to do before a game, you become closer to the team. But financially at the moment i cant afford it.

Im hoping when my son is old enough to know about football i will be buying me an him a season ticket, maybe thats why you dont feel that close to city anymore ? not going to games regulary?

exactly.

Players, managers, owners and even grounds come and go. Only thing that is permanent and who form the soul of the Club are the supporters. Without supporters Club is nothing. Without supporters there would not be any legacy.

Op should sign up for BNP. Lot of similar minded people I'm sure.

I'm not sure he will. First of all, during the dark days we gathered people who were in love with the misery rather than the Club. Then there are people who are England first and foremost and City second. Our current era will not please either of those group. Although one could point out that half the England squad play for us. But that's besides the point for them and you know it.
