Who's going to Dortmund?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Who's going to Dortmund?

Postby Fidel Castro » Tue Jul 27, 2010 8:07 pm

So who is making the trip to Dortmund?
About to order my tickets for the Sudtribune, so I'll be surrounded by Germans. Tickets are only 15 euro and the Sudtribune is fuclin amazing. No way am I paying 30 quid to sit in a half-empty away stand.

If anyone off here is going, give us a shout and we can set up a miniscule mancityfans.net piss-up.

Don´t go.

I´ll never go to Südtribüne and the other prices are out of this world for a friendly......
First one will be the Blackburn home tie for me.

I'm in North Stand Block 9 row 1 is that the home or away end?
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

yes and no. The dimensions are amazing and it is impressive to watch it. But (Tom may agree), the "Yellow wall" doesn´t create the best atmosphere in the Bundesliga.
but anyway, i understand what you mean and i really don´t understand, why they sell only seats for the away end

Amazing and impressive when you see them in full mood for the first time, maybe also for the second one but afterwards this one becomes boring. 15-20K (don´t know the correct numbers atm) ähem "only sing when they are winning " fans all in yellow....
The last two visits (been there 10-15 times in my life) of Dortmund I sold my ticket and stayed in a bar outside the ground and the rest of my travelling group entered the boozer at halftime...Party on!

It is a must- see as a football supporter. You´ll have to visit Dortmund, you´ll have to see the Südtribüne (or when you are british, even stay on it) but one time is enough......

Not sure. I think the away end is on the North stand though. I'm on the Sudtribune, block 11.
Looks like we're the only ones going

The South Stand is their home end with a capacity of 25.000 standing. Block 9 is in the North End one block beside the guest sector, normally a Dortmund or a mixed block.

You'd think someone would keep a resource of this kind of thing ; )

It's live on ESPN.
