City at home on a Thurs then a Sun in 1 week...well pissed off. The start and end of season games needs addressing, that`s where the complaint should be, otherwise we`ll look stupid for moaning at being successful.

I`m luckier than some on here as I live in Mcr but if we can`t fill the stadium now with what`s about to happen(barring unemployment of course) we as fans need to look at ourselves.

i'm not really arsed about myself in this, i'm a young man with no dependents so fuck it - sorry if it does affect you or your family. what i am more concerned about is the effect this will have on the squad.

i predict some "shock" losses to the likes of WBA et al on the sundays following EL games.

I can't attend games on Sundays due to my own football so the less games on a Sunday the better, but I can't moan as I knew this would happen prior to me renewing. I will be missing some big games but what can you do??

Last season we only had 3 3pm Saturday KOs prior to November, it's nothing new for teams in the Europe.

The last season we were in Europe I'm sure we only had 4 or 5 Sat 3pm matches all season, I'm used to it now. Monday nights games are crap admittedly and the odd suggestion of a Wednesday night derby game doesn't appeal at all.

I agree though that starting and ending the season away from home is very poor and shoold be addressed

I'm actually surprised we've got as many as 4 tbh. Nothing unexpected in this story is there? That's football and life 2010. Let's face it, it was only religious reasons that used to stop Sunday football umpteen zillion years ago now.

Monday nights is dreadful though and ought to be banned by Parliamentary Act.

It only affects me in the sense that it looks like I will have more hangover mondays at work this season....ah well, work will have to suffer on a Monday :-)

The kick off times have never bothered me, apart from the early Sunday ones as it means I have to be up at about 9 in order to be at the train station so I can get to town to have a couple of scoops before the game.

sounds like i should plan some Sunday dates with H and pop over to use your ticket. I know she won't miss the footy even if you are. ;)
