Venue: Cape Town
Date: Tuesday, 6 July 2010
Kick-off: 1930 BST[/center]

TEAM NEWS

Uruguay will definitely be without suspended duo Luis Suarez and Jorge Fucile. Suarez was sent off for handling Dominic Adiyiah's goal-bound header in the quarter-final win over Ghana, while Fucile earned his second yellow card of the tournament in that match. Creative midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro has been ruled out of the tournament with a broken foot, while captain Diego Lugano is struggling with a knee injury.

Netherlands striker Robin van Persie has been cleared to face Uruguay following a hospital scan on an elbow injury. Defender Joris Mathijsen will also return from a knee injury. Gregory van der Wiel and Nigel de Jong are suspended.

Noolie...i can't believe you made me post this in the unofficial thread first...cock. Now i have to repeat myself. I'm like CARL. posting thrice to get my point across like some old bitter broken brit.

Fantastic start for the Dutch...what a cracking goal the LB for Holland. I can hardly believe they count a goal like that considering a fullback scored it. i mean, just...yknow...sayin.

Quite a decent 1st half. I was expecting Holland to boss this but it's been the opposite way around. Uruguay have harried and pressed Holland into little mistakes and then caught them napping a few times. I can see Holland coming back strong in the 2nd half though and if they score, will run out winners. If they don't I can see Uruguay getting stronger and more confident, nicking it close to the end.

Why would Tyldesley think that was offside? If that was Rooney he'd be creaming himself.

Whooooo, game over.

What a football this Holland side plays. If only they had better centerbacks and they might actually win on sunday.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
