Doug -- have you found out how to get Vicky to let you get stowed aboard the plane for the US in a kit bag or something?

cheers

Strange as it might sound I don't actually fancy travelling over the Atlantic in a kit bag. Maybe that's just me:)

I did notice though alongside one of the pitches there was a new dugout thingy. Maybe that's where my Carrington season ticket will get me.

Was he as lazy and languid as ever Doug and did he trip over the ball?

He didn't look lazy at all but I wasn't really looking to closely at the skills on show for the first session. Caicedo still didn't control the ball too well but it was quite a confined area they were playing in.

Phil's arkwardness often makes his touch look poor. It is quite patchy at the best of times.

I liked him as a project player but I get the feeling that he hasnt really improved in his year away. He could be for the off aswell

If Pratt and the club know how we feel and are going to work on it as you say Doug, Then why has Pratt made sure that he is wearing training gear that has no MCFC emblems on it, I reckon he has done this on purpose.....The prick.!!!

I didn't and if anybody goes along does boo him I will give them a piece of my mind ( and there isn't much there in the first place.)

I have never liked the guy and things that he has said about the club have been out of order but he is working for City now in a key role so he gets my support. He will know and I can assure you the club 100% know , what the City fans think about him and he and they have to deal with that. I for one will be interested to see how he goes about it but while he is part of the team aiming to bring us success I will not be having a go at him and will watch with interest excatly what his coaching role with the team and tactics is.

Can you expand on that at all mate?

Doug .... did any of them mention how much they liked the new Kitchen which has been installed in the restaurant whilst they have been away?

Nah ..... thought not. Cost the club a lot of money that did. In fact, almost as much as a weeks salary for some of them.

Ungrateful b******s.

I suspect that they don't eat until after training.

No doubt they will all be talking about it tomorrow though ;o)

I didn't notice that when I was there but I am pretty sure he was wearing the same as all the rest of the coaching staff and physios. RM excepted of course

Now that made me laugh cb:) I actually didn't recognise RM immediately from a distance but I think that new barnet was shown off when he was on holiday somewhere so didn't consider it worthy of a mention.

I also didn't mention that when talking to Mike on the gate after they had gone in, 4 of the coaches went of for a training run/jog together. Fausto/Ivan Carminati/DP and Lombardo.

Yes, I am sure that once they have discussed minor things like new signings, how we are going to play etc, they will learn to appreciate it.

Seriously though, everything has been installed on the basis that it can be moved in 2 years ..... to the 'new' training facility!

I believe that the intention is to build a complete facility that will house the academy and first team training etc within a purpose built complex next to the stadium, where the casino was going to be.

All of which is fairly public knowledge ..... I was just pointing out that it is obviously already being considered a formality that it will be built. Sensibly, the club are not spending any money on existing Carrington upgrades of equipment which cannot be transfered over to the new site.
