The only thing I can do is to try and upgrade the site. It's not something I have done before and would mean that the site would be unavailable for a time (possibly forever if it goes wrong).

If it's still playing up at weekend I can give it a go.

Before you do any changes always back up your database and files so if anything goes wrong your covered.

I just have the site on my favourites bar Then when I get the message one click takes me back to the forum, so no hardship if you have a favourites bar.

It will only happen on certain threads as it's a problem with the language settings it seems. Seems the forum don't like US English and it throwing a paddy.
