What is this saying he did fine? Clearly Germanys weakest link, lets hope it's just that he was playing out of position,
he was taken out several times.. England didnt tried push their left side much beacuse Lahm's there, antother level of class he....

I said once, Samaras would be great mark my words... so your word dosent counf for much mate! :)

Looked assured on the ball and quick enough, other than that you can't really judge until he plays in his correct position

Personally i thought lahm was germanys weak link today, if you beat the guy for pace or strength he looks all at sea, if i was capello i would've got swp or lennon on and taken it to lahm.

Boateng will turn out good, im sure. He's no left back but has everything necessary for him to be a good centre half/right back. Also remember the lads only 21, so lots of learning still to be done.

THIS!!!

Fuck off the pair of you.

I expect this from IBH, who seems embarrassed to be English and needs to decide if he is going to be Welch or Oirish, but you've changed your tune very quickly, Mark. Your celebrations in the match thread when we made it 2-1 suggested you 'gave a fuck'.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

2-1

Post your own views on stuff and stop being a sheep. Alternatively, shut the fuck up and stick to copy and pasting pointless links and starting 'official' threads.

I did care but when you get a team full of clowns that don't give a fuck why should i give a fuck about them??? It will always be club over country in my eyes and after that perfomance it just might be club from now on.

Honestly I thought he kept Milner quiet all game and shut off his service. He really did service to his country... The same couldn't be said for English defenders though..

A right-sided playing very well also on the left, very strong and appointed to become a sort of new Vinnie Kompany. Welcome to Eastlands, dear Jerome! I'm sure you'll do a lovely job for our beloved City!

For better or for worse, I'm absolutely convinced it's Marwood signing.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

If we paid anything over 12 millions were being had over a VERY large barrell with an even bigger Dildo up our arse.

Me too and to be fair to marwood he's been spot on on the transfer front so far!

If you want to be technical ... the way we are being set up, every signing will be "marwood's" ... this is how it's done. Mancini has addressed this before and said it's normal, there is no problem. This is how it's handled on the continent 95% of the time. The only place where it isn't the norm is England. I think it's a good idea to have some oversight in this area especially. Mancini completely understands how this works and has absolutely no problem. 2 heads are better than one, and seeing as there is no problem with Mancini and this system ... him and marwood should theoretically be able to make the most out of it and get some good transfers done.

So, Please assume form now on that every transfer is technically "marwood's" and be happy we won't be buying any more Jo's or RSC's.

After watching Edison Bundle and Jozy Altidore give Milner trouble for 93 minutes, that 26 mill is going closer and closer
down the toilet.

Oh, I fully agree. And we can also forget all this talk about paying market values. We already made MASSIVE mistake last summer of paying 18m for a player whose market value was 6m even on a good day. I don't think even the most avid RSC fan would argue against that. We need to do some damage control and be able to walk away from some ridiculous deals.

If we end up fosking out over 25m for him we can forget all the talk about getting any sort of value for money and just settle for the fact that we pay over 15m for (below) average players, over 20m for decent players, over 30m for good players and anything up to 100m for world stars.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

The way you lot talk it's as if we have to watch our spending FFS hahaha

I love the way you all say...

'We're not paying blah blah for blah blah...'

or

'He's not worth blah blah'

It's not like it's coming out of your own pocket is it!

The Sheikhs will pay whatever it takes to improve the nucleus of the team...this is only temporary of course until we have the footballing base we need

Remember Chelsea payed over the odds for the first couple of years before they had a settled squad including paying 22 Mil for Shauny!!

On what I've witnessed he will not be pushing for an automatic start in our team and is "one for the future" as they say. The way he let Upson free for the England goal was shocking at any level. Technically on the ball he looks promising with good skills, positional sense he looks like Micah Richards.
