Slovakia could recall fit-again winger Miroslav Stoch after creating few chances in the defeat to Paraguay. Marek Cech could also return in place of defender Kornel Salata, who admitted to feeling nervous against the Paraguayans.
Italy are also expected to make changes after two disappointing performances, with forwards Antonio Di Natale and Giampaolo Pazzini pressing for a start.
Playmaker Andrea Pirlo is available after returning from a calf injury but is likely to start on the bench.
