What a fucking shambles from Italy. Disgraceful being knocked out of that group. Great game though.

Agreed I only watched the last 20 minutes but to be fair I reckon I didn't miss anything and caught the best bit :). My rag father said Paraguay had no chance and Italy would come top I told him not to write Paraguay off and they won the group so a fucking result for me today!

First France, now Italy. Let's hope we can make Germany another big name to tumble out early

I can't forget, mate, how Italy won last World Cup in Germany: an incredible series of victories at last minute, or overtime, and the final against a very bad copy of France at penalties!
Believe me, I was already resigned at this unglorious end til the day our federation sacked Roberto Donadoni two years ago in Spain!
Marcello Lippi's coming back at Nazionale, what a terrible mistake!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Cheating and diving against the Aussies.

I am happy a downunder country had some part in sending those cunts home, a little disappointed it wasn't us.

Yes, but if I recall 70% of their goals came off pens and set pieces, it is nice to actually see goals scored form a top buildup (and what an amazing final 15 minutes). Sorry Renato, I know it hurts, but it is time to clean up the bones of those old players and rebuild.

I'd say the Slovaks were more guilty of playacting yesterday.
