Interesting first halve, some decent errors in both defenses......
And you could see why Özil isn´t the player he could be..... Will never be a goal scorer....

I have the Ghana central meeting point in my street, they are on a party since 3-4h with drums, congas and everything witch makes some noise.... We will see who will make the noise afterwards. I see an nervous second halve comin......

Yeah it's a bit weird.

JB playing at left back seems to be doing ok so far.

i just think its the state of the world (i thought it was england) when your brother is from a different country than you?????
its very wrong.

They both have different mothers but share a Ghanian father...

yes i know.
but isnt it wrong when your brother is a different nationality?
maybe im im still behind the times.

Thought Lahm was excellent today, although I am sure NQDP will disagree again just out of principle. Boateng looked good as well.

Won't be a problem for Germany if Capello keeps on relying on shreck and Heskey.

No, I thought Lahm was alright. quality of the opposition was on his level.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Second goal in the game in question. Where does it come? Wide open space on the (Bayern's) right hand side. What is Lahm's postion? Right back. Where is Lahm? No where to be seen. Why did you think Milito kept drifting to left all game? Because Mourinho knew that Lahm is a comedy defender.

And you two are saying you'd want to see this joke of a defender in City shirt?

All you do is try to highlight negatives, you completely ignore all the positives such as the vital blocks Lahm has put in in this World Cup already. Milito scored because v. Buyten (who was right on him) let him get past him so easily. So it's Lahm's fault that v. Buyten lost a 1 v 1?

You're pathetic mate, you really are.

And yes I would absolutely love Lahm at City, he is far superior to any Full Back we have at the moment.

Look mate, I understand you have his picture in a table next to your bed and kiss it goodnight every night. But the fact is he isn't much of a defender. There are lot of decent defenders in Germany. In fact you have great history of breeding them. Andreas Brehme for example. There was a left back who knew how to attack AND defend. Equally good as left winger when needed.

We conceded numerous of soft goals last season. Especially from the left. Last thing we need is right back who goes missing as well. And face it, that's exactly what Lahm does, goes missing. If he agreed to play as winger or we used wingback system, I might consider him. But as a leftback, never.

Furthermore, I think you are one of those people who are interested about particular players. I don't give two shits whether they are called Cockenmunchers, Jones' or Dinglydongly's as long as they do the good stuff for Manchester City. And don't forget this is Manchester City site. I doubt Lahm would.
