Indeed we did. My point was that I don't particularily fancy the idea of ultra attacking fullbacks who can't defend in Premier League. Ultra fast paced nature of the game means these players would get caught out all the time and we'd concede loads of goals.
But then again, I'm bit of a traditionalist. I think attacking fullbacks and defensive wingers are bullshit. Wingers are there to attack first and foremost and help defensive when they can. Fullbacks are there to defend first and foremost and help attack when they can. To make it simple, I can tolerate fullback who offers little going forward if he is a solid defender but I can NOT tolerate fullback who is good going forward but can't defend.
