Venue: Polokwane
Date: Tuesday, 22 June 2010
Kick-off: 19:30[/center]

TEAM NEWS

Argentina playmaker Juan Veron is available after recovering from a calf problem, while defender Walter Samuel may not be risked despite overcoming a thigh strain.

Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez is suspended so Nicolas Otamendi could deputise at right-back. Back-up strikers Diego Milito and Sergio Aguero may also feature.

Greece are likely to stick with the side that beat Nigeria in their last game, with Dimitrios Salpingidis partnering Theofanis Gekas up front.

One booking from suspension: Papastathopoulos, Samaras, Torosidis, Tziolis (Greece); Mascherano, Heinze (Argentina)

Its like a lions mane...
McCarthy's fucking loving him too, bet he's at Wolves next year.

Although its negative Greece have so far found a way to keep messi quiet. Although whether they can keep it up for 90 minutes we'll see.
Would love to see De Jong given the role of following him around and kicking him all match.

How the fuck can that fat little toad justify leaving Zanetti & Cambiasso at home? Argentina's chances of winning the World Cup would be about 30% better with those 2 imo. It's scandalous.

The tradge has made a couple of almost decent moves tonight but was doing a lot of 'you're all shit & I'm dead good' exasperated arm waving in Greece's last game, plus running into stupid fucking positions & waving/shouting for the ball, then complaining when they had the good sense to ignore him. Made me want to fly over there & twat him.

amen.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Wonderful moment when the tradge took that ball onto his left foot like Dennis Bergkamp & blammed it hopelessly wide.

You could swap Samaras & Jo & everything that happened in the game would be identical.

Samaras seems ot think he can play or shoot the ball through people. No George, human beings are solid form, you have to go ROUND them, not kick the ball through them, u Jesus tw*t

The pitch has been kept really well I think - great contrast of greens with the two tone cut ...
